This infographic introduces the core principles that I have extracted over my career that have the most impact on the performance of a warehouse. These are the principles that I apply when I work with clients to improve their business.
Although it is impossible to convey several decades of practical experience and learning in just a few blog posts or an infographic, the aim of this work is to demystify the warehouse both for those who are deep in the forest and surrounded by trees, and for business owners and senior managers for whom the warehouse is an essential part of their operations.
My hope is that these principles provide you with an intellectual framework for thinking about warehouse improvement and that from these ideas you will uncover the areas you need to target to improve your own operations. In each the posts on this topic there are also some practical advice and examples of each of the main principles.
